If interface is the last thing they work on, why would they post screenshots. It looks almost exactly like vista…i’m pretty disappointed, but they haven’t released the final version yet so there’s still time to fancy it up
I find this not to big one made a distinction between vista and new windows 7 exists, this is pure, actually amounted up to new paintversion and startmenu. one had to go (if it comes out 09) itself consider what one for system procures
Seriously……. Cant they decide to make something different, step to the future…. Forget Vista, Xp, and all that legacy shit. Just make something new and start over who cares about backwards compatability if you want backwards compatability GO WITH VISTA or XP
i think start menu is changed a little bit and side bar is integratet in explorer.exe, because there is option for that in one menu….
But i don`t like it… i don`t like aero, the best thing in Vista- fast search with start and parental controls, anything else- i don`t care, because the kernel is too slow and too big. I prefer using XP or Linux, but only sometimes checking out whats new in Vista….
yeah i agree with Scarletti, graphics look glossy attractive and very sophisticated
However, in the my computer screenshot i dont like the ‘no icons’ in the menu… anyway, i think it looks better + improvement over vista, even though vista is good
I have windows XP Professional. Have thought about upgrading to Vista. With all the reported problems is upgrading to vista really worth it or would it be worth it to leave it alone and wait for windows 7? When is Microsoft going to get it right?
Hello everybody. Microsoft has not given out the build which has UI changes to the users. I had a chance to look into the UI changes in PDC and it looks cool.

Hey Arun,
The interface is what they try and do the last. Most work now is under the hood

The new OS is really appealing.
I know for sure it’s going to be fun. I like the Paint and the Wordpad especially. Nice work, Microsoft.
