.co domainsOn Thusday 20th July, a new market is opened for thousands of people waiting. I was one of these excited people. For many people, companies and business groups, it is a new chance and for many other people, it is a money source. But in both situations, it was an exciting day. Ok, i will say what it is…

As you may know, there are first level domains (.com, .net, .org, .gov… etc.), second level or special domains (.mobi, .tv, .me, .info… etc.) and country domains (like .fr, .de, .cc, .com.tr… etc.) on the web. If you want to buy a domain for your company or hobby or anything you are interested in, it is very difficult to find a short and targeted domain on the first level domains. Even you might come acrossauctions on ebay that requests thousands of dollars for a 4 character no meaningful .com domain. Think aboutmeaningful domains :)

On 20th July, Thusday, a new domain tld .CO kicked off its life. This is a short, memorable and very similar to the best domain tld; .COM. Actually, it is a country tld of Colombia but nobody cares this. On the first day, more then 250,000 domain has been sold out. This show that it is a new globaldomain tld of the world. A newera as it is told on CoInternet.co, the source of this tld.

And today, on the third day, i see many auctions of this new registered domains like licence.co, modules.co, mssql.co on the domain sales websites like Godaddy, Flippa, BuyDomains

This is a new market for those people who were waiting for it. And many people are already happy from this market.

Is it really worth it buying .co domains? Apart from .com I only find good .net, .org and .cc. All the others seem to be crap.
